Trading Words on the Internets

Yo yo. So any of you who be sittin around and doin day tradin probably know that the life of the big moneyz day trader can be a bit drab. You don't always gots time to go out and get coffee and 40z with yo pals. And sometimes you get da itch to converse with some other mastaz of yo craft, maybe see what they be up to if you got trader's block.

Trademaster J has the medicine you need: IRC.
Now I aint talkin about Inland Real Estate Corporation (ticket symbol IRC). I be talking about Internet Relay Chat...

IRC was inventized up in the early days of deez Internetz. Even though it has a whack name... it's a very simple idea: chat rooms. You connect up to an IRC network and you can browse and participate in that network's chat rooms (what we will call channels fo the rest of this post). Dere be shitboats of these channels for peeps to talk about tradin on the markets. These places can be good fo gettin tips, meetin some peeps that do the same shit you do, findin out news info befo the rest of the world knows, etsetra. Learnin how to use IRC can be difficult at first. But there are some guides to it that I'll link you to at the end of dis post. Basically, if you ever played Notepad on the computa, this is a multiplayer version.

Once you get on up in this channel business, there are some things I gotta make you aware of before you start runnin yo mouth or frontin:

  • Don't be talkin shit durin market hours in the day tradin channels. These peeps got dey eyes on the prize durin market hours and they get a little pissy if you start askin dumb questions or startin some shit while they tryin to keep it real on the market.
  • Don't be frontin stocks. If you got some penny stock you want to pump and dump and you start hollerin the symbol up in these channels, these folks will see right through yo sketchy ass and ban you.
  • Don't be commentin on how hawt the current CNBC anchor, correspondent, or guest is. CNBC gets some badass hotties up in that business, but if you start beein all "I wanna pee in her butt" on the IRC channels, you will get banned for bein sexist and off topic.

#DayTraders on the OtherNet Network

This place is aight. They run a tight ship. Always bannin yours truly for speakin his mind (cussin). People always announcin their trades. Sometimes I follow the trades of traders that seem to do well overall, and when I do this I bank a bit too. After hours, there is discussion of whateva you want and sometimes a game of investin trivia. Before joinin, check out their website for tips and guidelines: http://www.daytraders.org/.
IRC link.
